These are the Roll-Off Dumpster Rental Terms customers of DV Demo Co accept when they book. They are shown here exactly as we keep them, so this page always matches what you sign.
Demo company terms, from the platform's starter template. Not a real agreement.
DUMPSTER RENTAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS
These terms are an agreement between DV Demo Co ("we", "us") and the customer placing the order ("you"). By signing them when you book, you agree to them for this rental.
1. YOUR ORDER
Your order is the container size, rental period, delivery address and date, and the price shown at booking. The rates, fees and limits that apply to your rental are the rates, fees and limits shown at booking or on the order confirmation. If anything in your order looks wrong, please contact us before delivery.
2. DELIVERY AND PLACEMENT
You choose where the container is placed. Please tell us about anything under or near that spot that could be damaged, such as sprinkler lines, septic tanks, buried utilities or soft ground. A container and our truck are heavy, and driveways, curbs, lawns and other surfaces can crack, rut or mark under them. We take reasonable care when placing and removing the container, and you may put boards or other protection down before delivery. We are not responsible for surface damage at a spot you chose, unless it was caused by our negligence.
3. ACCESS AND BLOCKED OR WASTED TRIPS
Please keep a clear, safe path for our truck on delivery, service and pickup days, including room overhead (wires and branches) and nothing parked or stored in the way. If we arrive and cannot safely deliver, service or pick up the container because of something within your control, we may charge the trip fee shown at booking or on the order confirmation, and we will work with you to schedule another trip.
4. PERMITTED USE
Use the container only for ordinary construction, renovation, cleanout and household debris. Please do not move the container, let anyone climb into it, or burn anything in or near it.
5. PROHIBITED ITEMS
Do not put hazardous or regulated materials in the container. These include hazardous waste, chemicals, solvents, oils and fuels, wet or liquid paint, tires, batteries, appliances that contain refrigerant (such as refrigerators, freezers and air conditioners), propane tanks and other pressurized containers, asbestos, medical waste, and anything else banned by federal, state or local rules or by the disposal facility. Rules differ by area, so please ask us if you are unsure about an item. If prohibited items are found, we may remove them, ask you to remove them before we haul the container, or charge the handling fees shown at booking or on the order confirmation, plus any charge the disposal facility passes on to us because of those items.
6. WEIGHT LIMITS AND OVERAGE
Your rental includes the weight allowance shown at booking or on the order confirmation. The weight is taken from the disposal facility's scale ticket. If the load weighs more than the allowance, the extra weight is charged at the overage rate shown at booking or on the order confirmation. Heavy materials such as concrete, dirt, brick, roofing and stone use up a weight allowance quickly, and some need a container of their own, so please ask us before loading them.
7. FILL LINE AND OVERLOADING
Do not load above the top edge of the container or past any fill line marked on it, and do not let items hang over the sides. We cannot safely or legally haul an overloaded container. If the container is overloaded, we may ask you to remove the excess before we haul it, and a return trip may be charged as a blocked trip under section 3.
8. RENTAL PERIOD AND EXTENSIONS
The rental period starts on the delivery date and ends on the scheduled pickup date in your order, or, for an open-ended rental, when you ask us to pick up. If you need the container longer, contact us to extend. Extra days are charged at the daily rate shown at booking or on the order confirmation. If the container is not ready on the scheduled pickup date and no extension was arranged, the extra days may be charged at the same rate.
9. PICKUP
Please have the container ready and reachable on the pickup date. You may ask for an earlier pickup and we will schedule it as soon as we reasonably can.
10. PERMITS
If the container will sit on a street, sidewalk or other public property, you are responsible for any permit the city or county requires and for following its conditions, unless we have agreed in writing to get the permit for you. You are also responsible for any approval needed from a homeowners association or property owner.
11. DAMAGE TO THE CONTAINER
The container remains our property. You are responsible for damage to it while it is at your site, beyond normal wear and tear, such as damage from fire, overloading or misuse. Before charging for damage, we will show you what was damaged and the reasonable cost to repair it.
12. PAYMENT AND THE CARD ON FILE
Payment for your order is due as shown at booking. By placing your order, you authorize us to charge the payment method you provided for the order total and for the later charges these terms describe, such as extra days, weight over your allowance, prohibited items, blocked or wasted trips and damage to the container, at the rates shown at booking or on the order confirmation. We will send you a receipt for each charge that says what it is for. If you think a charge is wrong, contact us and we will review it with you.
13. CANCELLATION AND RESCHEDULING
You may cancel or reschedule without charge if you tell us at least 48 hours before the scheduled delivery. If you cancel with less notice, or after the truck has been sent out, a cancellation or trip fee may apply as shown at booking or on the order confirmation. If we need to reschedule because of weather, equipment or safety, we will contact you as soon as we can, and you may cancel for a full refund if the new date does not work for you.
14. WEATHER AND DELAYS
Delivery and pickup times are estimates. Weather, road conditions, disposal facility closures and other events outside our reasonable control can delay service. We will keep you informed and reschedule as soon as it is safe.
15. RESPONSIBILITY FOR LOSS OR DAMAGE
We are responsible for loss or damage caused by our negligence or willful misconduct. You are responsible for loss or damage caused by your use of the container, the materials placed in it at your site, and the placement location you chose, except to the extent it was caused by our negligence or willful misconduct, and you agree to cover our reasonable costs from claims by others that arise from those causes. To the extent the law allows, neither of us is responsible to the other for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits.
16. GOVERNING LAW
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia. Nothing in these terms takes away a right you have under consumer protection law that cannot be waived.
